The Guadalupe Island shark cage diving season runs from August to November, when the ocean is calmest, and colder sea temperatures of 66 to 72°F are to be expected this time of year. Great white sharks, Guadalupe fur seals and sea lions are most frequently sighted during the August, September and October period. The really BIG females stalk these waters in late October through November.
