Marine Science Education: Floating Classroom (4 Hours)

"The youth of today is tomorrow's future." A phrase that is being repeated with more and more frequency especially when it comes to environmental education.

Our "hands on" approach to marine science education provides a brief yet comprehensive look into the marine environment within San Diego Bay through the eyes of "junior" and adult amateur marine biologists. All participants should expect to go home wet, slimy and muddy in typical fashion of a marine biologist working in the field!

Our instructional program, though set in basic structure, can be tailored to meet the needs of your specific group and age level (Grades 3 - Adult). We provide pre-trip information along with trip work packets.

Teachers, you can build a lead-in module prior to your trip along with follow up activities after the field trip. If you are going to utilize parent drivers to bring your class in, GET THE PARENTS INVOLVED!

The Marine Floating Classroom is also a great place for adult groups and children's birthday parties. With prior planning we will design a fun marine education experience that will service your particular need.
